What you'll do

  • Direct and guide existing creative teams and production
  • Maintain style and art direction to ensure visual consistency
  • Collaborate with art producer on priorities, assignments, schedule and processes
  • Coordinate with external teams and contractors to produce art assets
  • Creative problem solving through visuals and game design collaboration
  • Provide mockups, supportive documentation and templates
  • Contribute to the conceptual development process and content production effort by making high quality artwork. Could include: Concepts, 2d assets, UI and marketing material.

We'd love to hear from you if you have

  • 6-8 years experience as a Artist Lead/ or Art Director with ability to guide and direct creative production
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a clear understanding of shape language, drawing fundamentals, and knowledge of color, value and form.
  • Ability to work efficiently.
  • High energy, confident and capable self-starter- can operate with limited supervision
  • Advanced knowledge of the creation of game content, how art affects game play for kids and technical limitations
  • Solid understanding of artist tools and basic tracking software: Photoshop, Spine, Trello, Jira, Basecamp, Google Workspace
  • Comfort with ambiguity and ability to quickly adapt to change and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience working with teams globally and mindful of cultural nuances

Pluses

  • Experience with animation, Spine, Unity, Maya

Senior Artist (3D)

Senior Artist (3D specialist) to support our internal and external game development needs. A person in this role will manage internal and external 2D, 3D, UI, and UX designers while working closely with developers, game designers, producers, product managers, and the executive team with the ultimate goal of creating AAA games.

Senior Artist (3D specialist) is comfortable creating game assets on their own, but also directs and provides direction to other content creators on the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support existing visual direction for the project, and communicate the vision with others.
  • Own the art pipeline: direct a team of artists, provide notes and production suggestions.
  • Create sketches, concepts, 2D and 3D game assets.
  • Work with the UI and UX team.
  • Help to plan sprints and work closely with game design, artists, engineers, external contractors, and product managers.
  • Import and test game assets in Unity.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4-5 years of experience working with 2D and 3D games in senior or lead roles.
  • A portfolio showcasing your best work.
  • Must be comfortable creating 2D and 3D game assets.
  • Extensive experience with Unity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great understanding of current game industry trends.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and analytical mindset.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Strong Animation skills.
  • Experience with other game engines.
  • Experience creating and modifying shaders via nodes or HLSL.
  • Experience creating and modifying particle effects.
  • Basic understanding of C#.
  • Some experience with Illustrator or other vector tools.

Senior UI/UX Designer to support our current game development pipeline. Our UI/UX team works closely with product and design teams to create seamless UX experiences which look and feel amazing.

You must be passionate about making games, proactively communicating and cooperating with other disciplines, prototyping and iterating, experimenting with various UI art styles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with design, product, art, and engineering.
  • Contribute and stay true to product vision and design requirements.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, style explorations, layouts, UI kits, and final screens.
  • Plan, Review, and otherwise Manage UI/UX tasks on various projects.
  • Actively play test, compile notes and iterate on the existing designs.
  • Participate and contribute in sprint planning sessions.

REQUIREMENTs

  • 5+ years of experience in Free-to-Play UI/UX design (Desktop, Mobile).
  • Expertise with Figma, Adobe XD and Illustrator.

  • Jira or other task management tools.

NICE TO HAVE
